If not my favorite, this is probably the best and most classic-sounding Cultes des Ghoules album. Every track is just monstrous and, honestly, pretty fucking scary. After this is the jumping off point for some. I'm a huge fan of the subsequent releases and the challenging aspects that come along with them (especially the insanely batshit "Coven"), but there is no denying the impact "Henbane" makes after listening. Pure black metal evil. bcb723
